-By utilising social media marketing strategies, Fashion Revolution has managed to grow their social platform to 860,000 people. Their hashtags reaching approximately 91 million people in the past twelve months!


- Fashion Revolution week is their annual campaign; they have 841 student ambassadors and 1256 online and offline events with over 1 million attendees.


-They spread awareness through educational platforms and partnerships.


-In 2022, they gained 22,000 more followers during fashion revolution week and 800 press mentions with a reach of 4.8 million people!


Why is social media important for the campaign?


It is clear that social media plays a key role for the campaign. They are able to reach millions of fashion lovers and observers who may or may not be aware of the environmental damage the industry creates. Research is extensive, and their findings can be quickly spread online, helping to educate consumers about brands’ transparency and the impact of over consumption.


The Fashion revolution Society encourages members and users online to shop responsibly and hold brands accountable, especially when considering a strong social media is an important presence for a brand. Hashtags and social media pages will generate a lot of conversation within the industry.
