Christmas 2022 Gift Guide!
Still searching for last minute gifts? Below are some ideas from our blog team to get you inspired!
1. The 'Book Lover'
For any “Book Lovers” in your life, here are some gift ideas for readers interested in all genres, from Romance to Fictional Biographies.
Firstly, candles are great to set the vibe for a cosy reading session during the rainy autumn evenings we get so often in the UK. This can be paired with an LED booklight for late night reading!
Bookmarks are an essential that can come in all shapes and sizes. Crochet bookmarks are a cute handmade gift (which I’ve personally made) that can be customised to any design, while beaded bookmarks provide a daintier aesthetic.
For bookworms slowly building their own personal library, a book stamp or embosser is a great way to leave their mark alongside their favourite authors and ensure any book borrowers are held accountable!
For the element of surprise, Blind Date with a Book or a Book Advent Calendar is a creative way to gift books from someone’s TBR (to be read) which could include wrapping up books and providing a ‘dating profile’ description about the chosen book or numbering them with days until the 25th.
A great place to source books are from Charity shops such as Oxfam and local bookstores which have a great selection of genres. Happy Gifting and have a safe holiday period! - Tio <3
2. The 'Self Care Lover'
This is for anyone who has left Christmas shopping the last minute and has a 'self care lover' in their life. These gifts will perfectly compliment their life and will think you spent at least a month planning their gift.

3. The 'Fierce Fashionista'
A designer steal
You don't even need to leave your bed to find something your friend will love. Take a look at the infamous charity shop White Rose's online designer section to find a piece that will make your fashion-loving friend squeal in delight. They currently have this gorgeous Balenciaga dress listed on their website.
A local look
Shop small and local this winter to get a gorgeous, limited-edition item for your friend whilst simultaneously supporting small businesses. Your fashion-forward friend will love these fluffy sleeves from NTU's own Meredith Cerys.
Pangaia Perfection
Fashionable, sustainable and made of seaweed? If you need a conversation-provoking gift look now further than Pangaia. Their scientific approach to sustainability is sure to be a hit gift!
- Imi xx
4. The 'Eco Warrior'
Once you start thinking about sustainability, it’s so easy to realise how much waste we cause at Christmas. So what present do you get the person that always picks up on this?
What about some classics, like a metal reusable bottle from Chilly's or makeup-removing cotton pads? I think as we get older, useful presents are so appreciated (fluffy socks anyone?), and these can be used everyday!
Or make sustainable swaps in your normal present choices - a gift voucher to Cow Nottingham instead of H&M, for example. I’m sure books would be appreciated too, like Dana Thomas' Fashionopolis or Why Fashion Matters by Frances Corner, as they are full of fascinating facts to help fuel the eco-warrior's campaigns.
And don’t forget the easiest sustainable swap that would make an eco-warrior proud - paper bags rather than plastic-coated wrapping paper! Less plastic, constantly reusable, and honestly, makes wrapping a lot easier!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Tegan
5. Gifts on a Budget!
