Brand Spotlight: Offkut Studio

For those of you who haven’t heard of Offkut Studio, it’s a small business and founder-led company selling unique and colourful printed tops and skirts.

I originally found the brand during the first lockdown on TikTok, from the owner Isa’s sewing tutorials. (Find Offkut Studio’s TikTok here if you’re looking for some inspiration!) Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with the brand.

Since Offkut Studio started in 2020, the brand has been selling unique handmade tops and skirts. The tops have a y2k style with graphic prints and colours. With 90’s style and funky clothing prints being on trend, Offkut Studio is the place to be shopping.

Lots of the tops have asymmetric necklines (one of my personal favourite styles!). I always look forward to the new product drops. The super individual and unique styles and designs of their garments always keep me looking forward to new product drops – they’re unlike anything you can buy from the high street.

If you like Jaded London and similar clothing styles, then definitely check out Offkut Studio. As Offkut Studio is a small business and female owned, it feels rewarding to support and purchase from them, rather than a big fast fashion corporation.

Lots of tops and products on Offkut Studio are upcycled from old or second-hand clothing, making the items both fashionable and sustainable. Which makes them a great item of sustainable clothing.

Here are some of my favourite products from Offkut Studio:

Offkut Studio has a one-of-a-kind collection where all products are handmade from fabric scraps and deadstock fabrics. I love this collection, as not only is it sustainable, but it means the clothing is unique and you’ll never find anyone else in the same outfit as you!

They’re focused on sustainability and minimising fabric waste. All fabric scraps are kept to then be created into one off garments and any unusable fabric scraps are sent to a London based company to be recycled. Offkut Studio’s focus on sustainability and minimising waste is important to the brand and its identity.
